Whether it's a birthday party, camp, Girl or Boy Scout event, just to name a few, Ms. Woods' books and activities will keep young children excited about literacy and engaged while learning. Her excitement is contagious.
ABOUT
Tonya Woods, a twenty-two year veteran public school educator, began to love reading at an early age. Around the same time she began to write, first poetry and then short stories. She wrote her first children’s story in college, and years later, she decided to follow her father’s advice to publish. Under the Tree is based on a collection of experiences from her youth. Tonya hopes to sit in a circle, criss-cross applesauce to share her book and the stories that inspired it with many children.
